The most common animals that you might observe inside the Bosco Selva are the jay, the dove, the hoopoe, the fox or, among the nocturnal ones: the owl, the scops owl, the barn owl, the stone marten, the hedgehog .... Finally, the two ponds within the wood are the ideal breeding environment for green toads (Bufotes viridis), common toads (Bufus bufus) but also, more rarely, salamanders and biscuits (Natrix natrix).
